What do I do with my RAT results?

If it’s positive…

A positive result from a rapid antigen test means that the test detected the virus. This means you very likely have COVID-19 and should report your positive RAT result to your state government.

For information on whether you should isolate or re-test please find your state government’s website here for the relevant information.

If you have tested positive and you have a weakened immune system or other health conditions, you should talk to a doctor as soon as possible to discuss treatment options.

If it’s negative…

A negative result from a rapid antigen test means the test did not detect the virus. This means you very likely do not have COVID-19 and have a lower chance of spreading the virus.

Depending on your situation you may need to test again. Please refer to your relevant state government guidance.
